This page provides an overview of the status of each Local Education Agency (LEA) and its Transportation Request Form (TRF) submissions for eligible students for the upcoming Extended School Year (ESY) term.

The submission of timely and accurate transportation requests by LEAs is necessary for OSSE-DOT to appropriately plan and schedule bus routes for the upcoming ESY. LEAs are required to submit student TRFs to OSSE by May 5, 2025.

• Anticipated represents the total universe of students who OSSE believes may need ESY transportation. This population represents a combination of students who are receiving current school year transportation and received ESY transportation last year.
• Eligible represents a subset of anticipated students who have already had their ESY determination made by the LEA and are eligible for ESY transportation. The net difference between “anticipated” and “eligible” represents students who still require ESY determination by the LEA.
• Cancelled represents the total number of students who had a TRF submitted but subsequently cancelled. These students require the attention of the LEA as they either need to have a TRF resubmitted/updated or have their transportation eligibility reviewed. These students will not be receiving transportation service for ESY.
• TRF Received represents a subset of ESY transportation eligible students for which the LEA has submitted a successful TRF as of the current date. OSSE will begin routing these students for ESY transportation service in mid-May.
• TRF Missing represents the total number of students who have had their ESY determination made but are missing a TRF submission by the LEA. OSSE is currently waiting on LEAs to submit TRFs for these students.
